Story Length: Gentle & Heartwarming (2–3 mins)

Fun Element: A breezy park chase, a flying hat, and new friendships along the way

It was a windy morning in the meadow.
Little Ellie the elephant wore her favorite red hat as she strolled through the flowers, enjoying the gentle breeze.

Suddenly, a big gust of wind whooshed by!
“Oh no!” cried Ellie as her red hat flew up, up, and away into the sky!

Ellie ran through the meadow as fast as she could.
Her trunk stretched out, and her little feet thumped across the soft grass.

She stopped by a carrot patch where Benny the Bunny was munching happily.
“Have you seen my red hat?” she asked.
Benny pointed toward the stream, smiling. “I think it rolled that way!

By the stream, Ellie spotted her hat lying near the water.
She sighed with relief and stepped closer to grab it.

But oops! Ellie slipped on a rock!
Splash! Water flew everywhere — and Ellie giggled at her funny tumble.

Just then, a kind bird and a slow turtle came to help.
The bird lifted one corner of the hat while the turtle pushed it gently toward Ellie.

“Thank you, friends!” Ellie said with a big, warm smile.
She hugged her red hat tightly and felt grateful for their help.

When Ellie got home, she placed her hat carefully on the hook by the door.
Her mama smiled proudly. “Good job keeping it safe, dear!”

The next day, Ellie wore her hat again — but this time, she held it tight when the wind blew.
She had learned her lesson well.
